Core Guarantee: Seenify NEVER reads, parses, stores, sells, or transfers the body content, attachments, or text of your emails. We only track open metadata for emails you explicitly choose to track.
Information We Collect
When you use the Seenify Extension, we collect minimal data strictly required to deliver email read receipts:
- Recipient Email Address & Subject Line: Stored temporarily to identify tracked emails in your popup dashboard.
- Open Events Metadata: Timestamp and IP-derived metadata of when your tracking pixel is requested by a recipient.

Local Settings: User preferences (e.g. tracking toggle on/off) stored securely in your browser's
chrome.storage.local.
How We Use Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Provide real-time email read receipts and double-check tick indicators in Gmail.
- Send native desktop notifications when an email is opened.
- Display your tracking activity feed inside the extension popup UI.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or AI models under any circumstances.

By installing and using the Seenify Extension, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
Acceptance of Terms
If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall the extension immediately. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Seenify only for lawful purposes. You must not use Seenify to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages (SPAM) or engage in malicious email harvesting.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass backend security or API infrastructure.
- Violate browser web store policies or applicable privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
Disclaimer of Warranties
Seenify is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance resulting from changes to third-party web clients like Gmail.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Seenify or its creators be liable for any indirect behavior or damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services.
3. Gmail & Data Security Standards
Seenify is engineered using modern Manifest V3 standards with strict client-side sandboxing.
Google API Limited Use Compliance
Seenify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Zero Access to Unrelated Data
The extension operates via minimal DOM injection in Gmail to add the tracking toggle and status checkmarks. We do not read your inbox emails, contacts, calendar, or Google Drive data.
End-to-End Encryption in Transit
All communication between the extension, Gmail client, and Cloudflare Worker API is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / SSL (HTTPS).
